Frankton plant nears commissioning

The UK’s first wastewater micropollutant plant at Frankton, Warwickshire, that we are building on behalf of Severn Trent, has taken a step closer to coming on stream.
With all the equipment now in place, pre-commissioning checks will now start in early February. Each component will be tested individually before ‘wet commissioning’ starts, with the first water flow channeled through the system.
Once completed, ozone will be added to the water and its performance monitored before testing by the Environment Agency.
